Fuzuli Mammadov was born on September 8, 1977.

He has worked for Azneftyag (1993), Neftchi (1993-1996, 1997-1998), Prikarpatye Ukraine (1996-1997), MOIK (1998-1999), ANS Pivani (1999-2000), Shafa ”(2000-2002),“ Mashinsazi ”Iran (2002-2004),“ Khazar Lankaran ”(2004-2009),“ Simurg ”(2009),“ Olympic ”(2009-2010),“ Karvan ”(2010- 2012), played for Neftchala (2011) and defended the honor of the national team in addition to the U-18, U-19, U-21 national teams. In the 1995/1996 season, he was the champion of Azerbaijan in the team of "Neftchi", and in the 2006/2007 season, he was the champion of Azerbaijan in the team of "Khazar Lankaran". He won the national cup with Neftchi in 1994/1995, 1995/1996, Shafa in 2001/2002, Khazar Lankaran in 2006/2007 and 2007/2008. In 2008, he won the Commonwealth Cup among the CIS countries as a member of the southern delegation.

The player started coaching after finishing his career. In 2018, he was invited to Neftchi and was appointed assistant head coach of the main team. He was the head coach from the beginning of 2020 to November.
