Khayal Najafov: Every Player Wants To Play For Neftchi
Neftchi's new transfer Khayal Najafov gave an interview to Neftchi TV:
My transfer to Neftchi took place at the end of the championship. The rumors were already out. Neftchi is a very big club. Playing in a big, well-established club like Neftchi is everyone's dream and goal. It was a great pleasure for me to come here. I was very happy when I received an offer from a club like Neftchi. I can not express my feelings. It is an honor and a great feeling to play in such a big club. Before that I played in "Sumgayit". Coming to a big club from there made me even happier. My childhood goal was to play for Neftchi in Azerbaijan. I'm happy to be here. My dream at Neftchi is to do everything I can, to win all possible titles. It is good for us to have competition. I'm ready for that. Hopefully, if I show my game in "Neftchi", I believe that the head coach of the national team A will send me an invitation again. There is a very nice team, kindness. Where there is kindness, everything is always in order, there is a result. Yesterday's training was very good. Everyone tried to help. I didn't feel like an outsider. "
Evaluating our opponent in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, the young player thanked the fans who supported him: “You need to train and prepare for the game. The opponent is a team with almost the same strength. Hopefully, we will pass the stage. We have no other option. After this news, many Neftchi fans wrote to me. Thankfully, they tried to help. They said, "You play, the rest is ours." Let them give better support and be behind us as always. We also promise them that I hope we will do our best. "
