He was born on September 8, 1988. At the age of 11, he started playing football at the academy of “Qarabağ”. As a professional player, Yusif Huseynov played for Aghdam team and ended his career at the age of 26.

He started coaching as a goalkeeper coach and worked in the academy of the “Qarabağ” in 2014.

He has UEFA "B" and GK “B” category coaching license.
