A New Head Coach

A new appointment has been made to the post of head coach of Neftchi. By the decision of the Supervisory Board of the club, the team will be coached by Samir Abasov. The 42-year-old specialist has a contract until the end of the 2021/2022 season.
It should be noted that Abasov played for Neftchi in the 2003/2004 season and won the Azerbaijani championship and cup. He worked as a head coach at "Sumgayit" (2015-2018) and "Zira" (2018-2019) clubs.
