All three jerseys that “Neftçi” will wear in 2024/25 season are inspired by various periods of the club's rich history and the values that the team holds dear.

In designing our home jersey, shoulder and V-shaped collar elements are based on the jersey our team used during the 1976-77 years. Our new match jersey not only carries the retro features of the sets worn by “Neftçi” legends like Anatoliy Banishevskiy and Samad Gurbanov, but it is also crafted in line with modern design trends.

Our away jersey references the 1990s. In 1998/99 season, “Neftçi” won the Azerbaijan Cup after defeating “Shamkir” in the final in a yellow jersey with black horizontal stripes. New jersey prominently features the design elements of that iconic jersey. Yellow color symbolizes the sun that shines over our city all year round, while the black color represents the oil, which is also the source of our name.

Colors and elements of our alternative jersey are inspired by two factors: jersey “Neftçi” wore in 1979 Soviet Top League and the deep blue waters of the Caspian Sea, which are inseparably connected to our team, reflecting the shimmering lights of Baku Bay, where our beloved city is nestled.
