Neftchi PFC sold footballer Mamadou Kaneni to Greek club Olympiakos. According to the agreement between the clubs, the 24-year-old Guinean midfielder will play in the flagship team on a temporary basis on loan.

It should be noted that Mamadou Kane was transferred to Neftchi in December 2018. He wore a black and white uniform in 71 matches, including 52 championships, 4 cups and 15 European cups, and became the champion of Azerbaijan in the 2020/2021 season. Kane played 6 games for Guinea and scored 1 goal.
