In response to the Armenian military aggression, the people of Azerbaijan fought in the Patriotic War on September 27, 2020 to liberate our lands from the enemy and restored the territorial integrity of our country by winning a 44-day military operation. On December 2, last year, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the solemn celebration of Victory Day in Azerbaijan on November 8 each year in order to perpetuate the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
