Roberto Bordin was born on January 10, 1965.

He finished his football career in 2005 and started coaching in the same year. Coach at Italian clubs Bologna (2005-2006), Padova (2006-2007), Ellas Verona (2007, 2010-2015), Sassuolo (2008-2009), Romanian CFR (2009-2010), He worked as a head coach at Italian clubs Triestina (2016) and Moldovan Sheriff (2016-2018). As a coach, he became the Romanian champion in 2010. Under his leadership, Sheriff, who worked in 2016-2018, won the Moldovan championship (2016/2017, 2017), cup (2016/2017) and Super Cup (2017).
