“Neftçi” continues transfer processes. 2+1-year contract was signed with our ex-national team player Gara Garayev. 30-year-old defensive midfielder will wear number 2 white-black jersey.

Gara Garayev has played only for “Qarabağ” during his career. He has become winner of  Azerbaijan League (9 times) and Azerbaijan Cup (5 times) with “Qarabağ” since 2008. He played 76 matches for our national team.

It should be noted that “Neftçi” has transferred our national team players - goalkeeper Emil Balayev and Croatian born Filip Ozobić, also centre-backs - Brazilian Yuri Matias and Hungarian Márk Tamás.
