Farrukh Mahmudov was appointed as President (chief executive officer - CEO) of “Neftçi” Professional Football Club (PFC).

Farrukh Mahmudov was born in 1982 and received a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Auditing from Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 1999-2003, and a master's degree in business Management and Marketing from Business School of Central European University in 2003-2005.

F. Mahmudov has been Executive Director of Azerbaijan Basketball Federation since 2022. He had also been Founder and Managing Director of “ALTÜST Media” LLC since 2015. F. Mahmudov worked in management positions in “Samsung Electronics Caucasus”, “British American Tobacco Azerbaijan”, “Azerfon” LLC and other companies.

He is married and has 3 children.
